Election Reflection...
I'm finally getting around to sorting through all the campaign photos. Against all odds, we managed to get a Downriver Campaign for Change Office in October, thanks to the efforts of the many people who contacted the Campaign and made our case, and most especially to Les Braverman who generously donated the space, and Judy I. who facilitated the deal. (If you need an attorney be sure to remember Les.) And what a beautiful space it was! Lots of room upstairs and down, and we utilized it well to deliver our votes. Congratulations and many thanks to all who participated and worked so hard. I really miss you guys! As time allows I will be posting photos from our shared experience - photo credit goes to a lot of people, and I'm afraid I have the pics all mixed up, but to the best of my recollection our photographers are: billyb, Nancy W., Leslie C., Rich C., Janise R., and me. Please feel free to let me know if I left someone out. More to come...enjoy!

Peace on Earth ~ Sounds Good, Doesn't It?
Another cold one, but thankfully the wind wasn't too bad and at least it was dry. The good news is that we didn't have any American fatalities in Iraq over the past week, so the number was the same as last week. A quick check at icasualties this morning shows the number is still holding - let's hope the trend continues until all our troops are safely home. Thanks to all who believe that what we are doing is still important, and for coming out. It was nice to see Congressman Conyers and meet his son John Jr., and we were also visited by our old friend Blue, therapy dog extraordinaire. Sorry I didn't make it across the street to see everyone ~ I'm still nursing the bum knee, but know that I love you all. Thanks as always to billyb and Nancy for the pics - it's not easy to shoot and change batteries when your hands are frozen!.
