Election Reflection...

The Grand Opening

I'm finally getting around to sorting through all the campaign photos. Against all odds, we managed to get a Downriver Campaign for Change Office in October, thanks to the efforts of the many people who contacted the Campaign and made our case, and most especially to Les Braverman who generously donated the space, and Judy I. who facilitated the deal. (If you need an attorney be sure to remember Les.) And what a beautiful space it was! Lots of room upstairs and down, and we utilized it well to deliver our votes. Congratulations and many thanks to all who participated and worked so hard. I really miss you guys! As time allows I will be posting photos from our shared experience - photo credit goes to a lot of people, and I'm afraid I have the pics all mixed up, but to the best of my recollection our photographers are: billyb, Nancy W., Leslie C., Rich C., Janise R., and me. Please feel free to let me know if I left someone out. More to come...enjoy!

Behind the Scenes in Denver...

If you are a tired volunteer for the Obama campaign, treat yourself to a 15 minute break and take a look at this video. Put your feet up and simply enjoy. I promise you will be energized to keep on going for the next twenty-something days. If you have not yet signed on as a volunteer, come down and let us put you to work. We need you. Barack Obama needs you. Your country needs you.

The New West Wing...

Imagine it. Believe that it can happen. Then decide that in the next 25 days you will make the investment in our collective future to do whatever you can to elect Barack Obama, as well as a Democratic Congress that our new president can work with to actually get things done. Whatever it is you can do, the time is now. Your country needs you.

Wyandotte Campaign For Change Office!

Good news, everybody --- make that great news! We now have an Obama/Biden Campaign Office right here in the heart of Downriver. Our job now is to fill it every single day through November 4th with volunteers for phone banking, canvassing, and whatever else we need to do to get our guys elected. Please come in to the office as often as you can for the next four weeks.
