So How's That Surge Working Now, Mister Bush?

I found it therapeutic being with all of you today, at the end of this week filled with such bad news from Iraq. I fear that things are going to get a lot worse there in the near future. If you have a few minutes, take the time to read this account from a U.S. soldier on the ground in Baghdad. How in the world could we not protest on this young man's behalf?

It was a good crowd today, with some of you returning after having been to the candlelight vigil, and others who found us for the first time today. Thank you all so much for coming, and we look forward to seeing you again. I'm hopeful that our numbers will grow as the weather breaks, because we are going to need every single one of us and many more to push for an end to this madness. Here are the pics from today, with thanks, of course, to billyb and Nancy.

Just to let you know, in Southgate, you aren't allowed to have signs placed on the easement (the grass between the sidewalk and the road).
