Important Notice Regarding Tomorrow's Protest ~ Saturday September 29, 2007

Driving by our usual protest site today, we noticed that the sidewalk all along the protest area is completely torn up. It would be difficult and dangerous to protest as usual, so we have devised a Plan B. We will set up shop on the other side of Fort Street at the old Sunbeam Donut Shop, which is currently unoccupied. Bill will be there with the signs and there is quite a bit of parking in that lot. That will be our base, and we can spread out from there. Some of us can cross back to the Wyandotte side...I just don't think it would be a good idea for all of us to meet there in its current condition. It should work out fine...a few of us will get there a little early to direct people and ensure that things go as smoothly as possible. If you know of anyone who might not see this, kindly let them know.

We certainly won't let a little construction keep us away, though this development does beg the question:
If you're takin' to the street and they take away the street, do you suppose they're trying to tell you something?! ~: )

See you all tomorrow!

Peace, Pam

Debate Watch...

Catch another Democratic Debate tonight at 9pm on MSNBC. (Not sure if it will be broadcast live on NBC, C-Span or PBS...will update when I get more info.) See th DebateWatch Clock below, courtesy of Chris Dodd. Senator Dodd has been saying some very interesting things lately, and I have a feeling he will come out swinging tonight. Just a guess...anyone have any other predictions? Anyone want to do a live-blog of the debate? We can comment and curse in real time! Any takers?

What's Really Important to Republican Members of Congress? David Shuster Wants to Know...

It's a reasonable question. Congresswoman Blackburn, what do you have to say?

As Lizzy reminded us the other day: "Stick up for MoveOn!
Go to this website and sign the petition!!"

Thanks Lizzy!
